Melissa Sue “Missy” Holycross, 29, of Lafayette passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012 in her home.
Missy was born on February 19, 1983 in Knox, Indiana to Daniel Lee and Patricia Kay (Cornell) Stevens. She graduated from Lafayette Jeff High School in 2001.
On February 14, 2011, she married Ryan Holycross in Lafayette, Indiana and he survives.
Missy worked for Village Pantry in the Deli for the past 6 months.
Missy attended the Southern Baptist Church. She loved to donate her hair to Locks of Love and spending time with her family and children.
Surviving with her husband and parents are her children, Hattie and Dean Ryan. Also surviving are her siblings, Shelena Stevens, Michael Stevens both of Lafayette, Tina Normn, and Todd Flagg of Knox.
Funeral Information
Friends may call on Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Fisher-Loy Funeral Chapel. Services will follow at 4 p.m. with Celebrant Patricia Fisher Officiating.
Donations Information
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Hatie and Dean Educational for Missy's children. Envelopes will be advailable at the funeral home.
