William J. Valdez Jr.

William J. Valdez, Jr., 96 of Logansport, passed away at 7:18 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012 in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born December 1, 1915 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of William J. Sr.and Carolyn Born Valdez.
He was married March 1, 1947, in Burnettsville, to Narda Byers Valdez. She preceded him in death October 16, 2007.
In 1981, William retired from the United State Post Office where he had worked as a clerk for twenty-four years.
William was a member of New Life Alliance Church. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of the ABC bowling team.
Surviving are one daughter, Kim Cain and her husband Steve, of Fairfield, OH; three sons, Brent Valdez and his fiancee DeAnna, of Kokomo, IN, Tad Valdez and his wife Patsy, of Crown Point, IN, and Todd Valdez and his wife Mauna, of Midway, UT; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and several step-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Information
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 22 at the Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport and one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.
Services will be held at Fisher Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will follow in the Davis Cemetery, near Burnettsville.
*Due to construction on Chase Road, please use Smith Street when traveling to the funeral chapel.
