Robert H. "Bob" Greig, 92 of Logansport, passed away at 6:48 a.m. Monday, February 6, 2012 in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born April 6, 1919 in Chicago,Illinois, he was the son of Ralph and Lois Segar Greig. He was married March 24, 1983, in Chicago, to the late Joan (Donnelly) Greig. She preceded in death February 16, 2006.
His first job was that of a tool & die maker in Chicago for many years. Bob had worked as a locksmith. In 1984, he retired from the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago.
Surviving are one brother-in-law, David & Roseann Donnelly, of Yorkville, IL; Nieces, Shari (Thomas)Keller of Westchester, IL, Katherine Donnelly, of Wheaton, IL, Debra Donnelly, of Chicago, IL, Maureen (Al) Spiegleman and Madeline Fenton, both of Colorado, Elizabeth (Ron) Reynolds and Rebecca Donnelly, all of Logansport; nephews David (Flora) Donnelly, Chicago, IL and David Todd Donnelly, of Indianapolis, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Greig and three brothers, Jack, Ralph and Ted.
Funeral Information
Entombment will be in the Ever Rest Memorial Park Mausoleum. Reverend Michael McKinney will officate at a committal service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, in the cemetery chapel.
