Josephine Williamson

Josephine I. Williamson, 81 years old of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2012 in St. Elizabeth East.
She was born March 18, 1930 in Jackson Township, Indiana to the late Roy Parker and Velma Mattox Pring.
On December 17, 1971 in Lafayette, she married Everett Williamson and he survives.
Josephine worked for Comfort Nursing Home as an aide until she retired. She had previously worked in housekeeping at Purdue.
Josephine was a member of the Linden United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting.
Surviving with her husband in Lafayette are her children Sandra Lee, Donna Smith, and Rodney Miller all of Lafayette; her step children, Mathew Williamson, John Williamson, Everett Williamson, all of Lafayette, and Jacob Leslie Williamson of North Carolina; and a brother, Larry Parker of Attica. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki McCliman, a step son, Stanley Earl Williamson, and her brothers, Carl Parker, Harold Parker, and Tommy Parker.
Funeral Information
Friends will be received on Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Fisher-Loy Funeral Chapel in Lafayette.
Services will be held on Monday, February 13 at Fisher-Loy Funeral Chapel at 10 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Clayton Kendall officiating.
Interment will follow in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.
